SUMMARY:
      Forex Brokers get paid for managing access to The Market. Access is meant as both the executing trade operations [XTO] & streaming the Quotes about the market prices available right now. Both of the roles are time sensitive. Both of the roles are business critical. Both of the roles are cardinal for success of trading strategy. If you feel you are happy with minutes of delays, well, some others are not. If you need to go down from seconds to miliseconds, microseconds or even nanoseconds, then you are right here.

SONAR QoS TEST:
      Methodology is using a SONAR-BEEP in a form of [XTO], yes, executing real trade instructions. For that purpose a rather special Pending Order is created. Position of the Pending Order is so specific, that it will never become triggered by any move of the Market, so it will never become a Trade, that exposes any fraction of your equity to The Market.

RESULTS:
      Real-Time records are stored in a standard .CSV file format. Real-Time records are capable to distinguish 1 msec in TimeDOMAIN without additional extensions. Real-Time records are analysed in several quantitative studies.

INTERPRETATION:
      The higher the XTO-RTT timing, the worse the conditions for your trading. Reasons for an increased XTO-RTT times vary and would be unfair to assign the whole lumpsum to the Broker or their Server issues. With a due care and a proper knowledge of the current trading infrastructure, any Trading Strategy risks can be reasonably previewed and quantitatively assessed as a basis for an adequate decision and a scale of measures needed to be applied so as to meet the trading targets.

TAMARA QoS TEST:
      Methodology is using a PASSIVE-TAMARA-SCAN in a form of [Quote Ticks], thus recording the incoming Quote-stream.
      Care is taken both to the PriceDOMAIN and TimeDOMAIN characteristics of the announced events.
RESULTS:
     

INTERPRETATION:
      The higher and the more frequent the observed spread peaks, the higher and the more frequent the observed Quote-stream gaps or interruptions, the higher and the more frequent the observed Quote-stream variance of TimeDOMAIN characteristics, the worse the conditions for your trading. Reasons for a degraded Quote-stream quality vary and would be unfair to assign the whole lumpsum to the Broker or their Server or their ECN/PrimeBrokerage DataCentre issues. With a due care and a proper knowledge of the current trading infrastructure, any Trading Strategy risks can be reasonably previewed and quantitatively assessed as a basis for an adequate decision and a scale of measures needed to be applied so as to meet the trading targets.
